Job Description Job Description JobID: 51190 Support Payroll Staff (Contract) – Chicago, IL (Onsite training required, then remote flexibility available) We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to provide temporary support during a maternity leave and Workday implementation. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations. Highlights: Contract role | $29/hour Remote flexibility after initial onsite training 8 years payroll administration experience required Responsibilities include payroll processing, audits, garnishments, retro pay, and reconciliations Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable handling complex payroll issues Exposure to Workday implementation Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and/or FPC or CPP certification.
