Our office has a need for an Office Assistant to help support our staff of Caregivers. Therefore, we prefer someone who has provided care in the past. The ideal candidate for this position would be an organized, detail-oriented individual who has prior experience as a caregiver assisting with office operations. Our home care agency is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant who is familiar with (or is willing to learn) caregiving, scheduling, recruiting, and Microsoft Office to join our team.

As our Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our caregivers and ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing client and caregiver records, helping with recruiting and hiring new caregivers, and assisting with administrative tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, and have experience with caregiving and scheduling.

* Answer telephone calls.

* Answer inbound telephone calls using company voice mail system.

* Maintain a clean and tidy office.

* File documents in proper order.

* Answer incoming faxes and emails as appropriate.

* May need to cover a caregiver shift if necessary.

* Perform standard accounting tasks, such as balancing cash receipts and disbursements, reconciling bank statements, preparing accounts payable, and recordkeeping.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
