POSITION OVERVIEW This position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Naperville and surrounding areas. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who have the ability to properly evaluate, estimate and close a job opportunity and enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to scope and estimate time and material for projects Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc. Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks Communicate and work with clients to provide exceptional customer service Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers as needs arise Manage own inventory of tools to complete jobs SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of construction/handyman experience Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems Friendly personality and committed to great customer service A strong work ethic and highly dependable Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50 lbs), and handling tools Valid driver's license Have reliable insured vehicle Maintenance Technician, General Maintenance Technician, General Laborer, Technician, Carpenter, Tradesmen, Craftsman, Window Washer, Painter, Landscaper, Roofer, Apprentice, General Contractor, Home Improvement Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
