We are seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our fast growing team as full-time general laborers starting at $15/hour and foremen starting at $20/hour. Field Technicians perform a wide variety of concrete and foundation repair services for residential and commercial developments all over the NWI and South Chicago suburbs. Seeking applicants with the following qualities: - Career-mindedness - Loves hard work, a fast pace, and physical activity - Hates being late - Loves a finished product and a sense of accomplishment - Eager to learn and improve in everything - Wants to start their forever job in the trade of Basement Waterproofing and Foundation Repair - Detail-oriented and looking to excel in a dynamic environment - Quick to learn with a flexible attitude - Honest and trustworthy to a fault - Commitment to excellence and high standards - Mechanical aptitude and good dexterity Responsibilities: - Model professional behavior always - Report to work as scheduled, on time, and prepared to work - Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor at projects - Work effectively in team environment and provide support and assistance where needed - Operate hand and power tools of all types, including cement mixers, concrete hammer drills, concrete breakers, shovels, and a variety of other equipment - Assist in production goals and quality standards - Ensure vehicle’s and project’s cleanliness and organization - Perform other related duties as assigned - Work a flexible schedule that may include overtime and Saturdays The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud, and you will be will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The work site is a construction environment. This is a rigorous labor position. Do not apply if you're not willing or able to perform labor work each and every day. This includes breaking out concrete, carrying broken concrete out of basements, digging a trench for drain tile, carrying buckets of mixed concrete, etc. Candidate will be working in all types of weather. Qualifications: - Must have a valid Drivers License and own your own reliable transportation (Required) - Must be a US citizen or possess a valid green card or work visa (Required) - High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Construction or Landscaping experience: 1-3 years (Required) - Athletic in nature, be able to lift 75 lbs., and be able to work 6 days a week - Have a genuine interest and passion for Construction and Repair - Must pass a drug test and background check - Be on time, willing to work hard, follow directions, and work well with others - Must live within 30 minutes of Griffith, IN There is Opportunity to Advance!
