Job Description:

The Electrical Engineer oversees the planning and implementation of multi-disciplinary capital and reliability improvement projects throughout the facility and acts as a technical advisor to achieve maintenace ojectives.
The Electrical Engineer:

• 
  
• 
  Plan and implement large and small capital improvement projects throughout the plant, utilizing a cross functional team for larger projects
  
  
• 
  Act as a technical advisor as required to the maintenance department for reliability improvement projects and troubleshooting complex electrical maintenance, power distribution, and automation issues
  
  
• 
  Draftsmaintenance and operating procedures for equipment and facilitates new spare parts stocking
  
  
• 
  Creates and modifies drawings and sketches to document changes to plant electrical schematics
  
  
• 
  Acts as the plant contact for technical interaction with our electrical utility provider
  
  
• 
  Maintains high voltage distribution network and energy monitoring activities Candidates should possess:
  
  
• 
  5+ years experience in project management or heavy industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting
  
  
• 
  Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology
  
  
• 
  Competence in 2D drafting using Autocad
  
  
• 
  Project management experience in equipment upgrades and capital projects
  
  
• 
  Competence in arc flash analysis software
  
  
• 
  Technical experience or certification in infrared thermography
  
  
• 
  Experience with Electric Arc Furnaces and Hot Strip Mills is a plus Relocation assistance is available for this position
