Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Energy Storage Transmission
Planning & Interconnection Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Support transmission planning interconnection studies for
operational and development needs
Facilitate power flow, stability, and dynamic analysis using
various modeling tools
Develop tools in Python, SQL, and/or MS Excel to automate data
analysis processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
or Power Systems Engineering
Power flow modeling experience with tools such as PSS/E, PSLF,
PSCAD, and others
Understanding of the transmission interconnection application
process
Experience working with ISOs and/or RTOs
Working knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy operations,
including wind, solar, and energy storage
