Family Group:Customer SolutionsRole Overview:The successful
candidate will directly manage multiple UX researchers across the
Digital Banking Experiences portfolio in Canada/US, leading
strategic UX Research roadmap planning through collaborative
workshops & rituals with Design, Product & Technology partners.
They will foster a culture of openness, proactively seek feedback,
and encourage honest conversations, working closely with peers to
evolve the UX Research craft within BMO Digital.Understanding how
new consumer and business customers approach search, evaluation,
and selection of banking solutions is essential. The role involves
analyzing the 'Voice of the Customer' to inform design and
strategy, designing research programs, analyzing data, and
collaborating with stakeholders across
departments.Responsibilities:
- Define and execute comprehensive research plans.
- Select appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods based
on project needs.
- Collect and analyze user behavior data through various research
techniques.
- Incorporate technical and business requirements into research,
advocating findings through reports and presentations.
- Develop budgets and timelines for research projects.
- Present findings and recommend actions to stakeholders.
- Promote a culture aligned with BMO's values, fostering
diversity and inclusion.
- Align work with BMO's purpose, set goals, and ensure
accountability.
- Build collaborative, high-performing teams and attract top
talent.
- Improve team performance through coaching and recognition.
- Operate at an enterprise level, serving as a resource to senior
leaders.
- Apply expertise to address complex, ambiguous situations and
implement changes as needed.Qualifications:Intermediate
proficiency: Transdisciplinary thinking.Advanced proficiency:
Creative thinking, emotional agility, user research, data analysis,
UX design, Design Thinking, customer centricity, communication
skills, analytical skills, collaboration, managing ambiguity,
data-driven decision making, and typically 7+ years of relevant
experience along with a relevant post-secondary degree or
equivalent experience.Compensation:Salary range: $120,000 -
$222,600. Pay type: Salaried. Compensation may include incentives,
