The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and IU School of Medicineisseeking anexperiencedInterventional Cardiology Directorto leadour highly skilled team.The candidate will be an exemplary leader in interventional cardiology with the needed vision and drive to build a world-class interventional cardiology section within an academic health enterprise. This individual will be an exemplar through both a personal commitment to the highest quality clinical care in his/her own daily practice as well as in advancing the quality of a team. This leader will have track record of scholarly contributions including peer-reviewed publications and extramural funding. This individual's commitment to excellence in education will be unwavering for all members of the interdisciplinary team, including physician trainees. This leader will work closely with relevant stakeholders and administrative partners in responsibilities that include all aspects of interventional cardiology operations and strategic planning, professional development and continuous improvement of team members, and timely and transparent evaluation and management of quality and professionalism issues. Position Details: Schedule: 5 days/week with on-call & Weekend coverage (inpatient 50% & outpatient 50%) Practice locations include: Eskenazi Hospital and IU Health Methodist, West & University Hospitals Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine, clinical rank will commensurate with experience Qualifications: Interventional cardiologist & Physician-scientistQualified candidates must be mid-career (5+ years of experience) Record of academic productivity Candidate must be BC with Fellowship training required Rewarding Physician and Advanced Provider employment opportunities awaitwith Indiana University Health Physicians.
