Physician --- Psychiatrist
(Outpatient) 200K+Lake
County, Indiana--Community mental health
center is currently looking for a Board Eligible/Certified
Psychiatrist with an
interest in outpatient psychiatry to fill an opening in northwest
Indiana.
Ideal candidates will hold a current unrestricted license in the
state of
Indiana or applied and have Board certification/eligibility in
Psychiatry.
Psychiatry residents and fellows are welcome to
apply.--Responsibilities of the
Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient)--
100% outpatient care to adults patients.
Provide 20-30 minute medication
management and 60-90 minute initial evaluations.
Call rotated between 10
psychiatrists.
Perform Evaluations and Medical
Checks.
Provide Education to patients,
families, and the community.
Perform other duties as
required.
--Requirements of the
Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient)--
Medical degree; M.D., D.O. or
foreign equivalent
Completion of an accredited
Psychiatry residency program
Licensed for the practice of
medicine in the State of Indiana OR able to obtain
Board certification/eligibility
in Psychiatry
Experience with EHR is
preferred
Possess the core values of

Ability to handle confidential
information appropriately and set appropriate boundaries and limits
with
clients
--Compensation for the
Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient)
The starting annual
salary for the Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist is $200,000+ depending
on experience and
certification.
