Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical expertise to utilization review process and
determinations
Ensure compliance with clinical goals through monitoring of care
management performance
Recommend changes to managed care guidelines based on clinical
knowledge
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school with active,
unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S
Minimum of 5 years of established clinical care practice
experience
Physician reviewer experience in the insurance industry
preferred
Board Certification in a nationally recognized specialty
Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine and managed care
principles
