Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (3 shifts per week) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not required to submit Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Experience with Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR - Ability to work night shifts Job Description: - Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment. - Monitor and assess the health of mothers and babies, addressing any complications. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Educate and support patients and their families throughout the childbirth process. - Maintain accurate patient records using the EpicCare Inpatient EMR system. - Uphold all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of care. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills. - Maintain flexibility in schedule and responsibilities to meet unit needs.
