• Employment Type: TravelJob Title: Cath Lab TechLocation: -EVANSTON, ILDuration: 13 weeks. -Shift: Day /40 hours Guaranteed /7 Am -3:30 pm. -Job Description: -Assist with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. -Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. -Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. -Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. -Monitor protocols and recommend updates or re---nements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. -Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as Angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. -Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. -Licensure / Certi---cation / Registration: BLS Provider, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. -Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. -Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. -Any specialty accepted. Radiologic Technologist issued by Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt. -Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. - -Note: "We are an equal opportunity employer.
