Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview This position involves working within the interventional radiology field, aimed at improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive techniques. You will act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients, facilitating consultations and assessments while collaborating closely with the interventional radiologist. Key Responsibilities - Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments. - Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and their families under the guidance of the interventional radiologist. - Perform daily rounds to communicate patient progress to medical staff and the radiologist. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Catheterization Lab. - Experience with heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI calls, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases. - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association). - ARRT certification is required (RCIS will not be accepted). - Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination is required. - Active state license (verification must be recent). Work Schedule Shifts are scheduled for 10-hour days with weekends to be determined. Availability for response to calls is also necessary. Location This position is based in Illinois.
