working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lafayette,
Indiana, 47905! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

have a valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
required Must-Have: Experience with Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix,
Insulin, Post Heart Cath, and Post Pacemaker. Description: We are
seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in a mixed acuity unit.
The nurse will care for medical patients with some progressive care
level cases. Responsibilities include managing drips for Cardizem,
Amiodarone, and Insulin. The unit sees unstable strokes and BiPap
cases. The environment includes a mix of medical surgical and
progressive levels of care. Areas of focus include oncology,
stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary care. The nurse
should possess solid Neuro experience. Patients typically have a
ratio of 1:5-6 for medical-surgical and 1:3-4 for progressive care.
The charting system used is Cerner. Floating may be required within
the facility. The team includes support from physical therapy,
respiratory services, radiology, and social services.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is emphasized for patient care.
Candidates must be able to start within the specified timeframe and
work major holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in
telemetry or progressive care units. Only non-local residents are
accepted for certain positions. References will be necessary for
