and community member we serve. Position Summary The Informatics
Analyst supports clinical operations at Schwab Rehabilitation
Hospital by improving the use of information systems, enhancing
workflows, and supporting staff through training and data-driven
decision-making. Working under the Medical Director, this role
helps optimize the electronic medical record (EMR), assists with
data reporting, and collaborates with clinical teams to improve
care quality, efficiency, and outcomes. System Informatics Analyst
(SIA) is an individual contributor that serves as a key member of
the interprofessional team at Schwab Rehab Hospital. The SIA
integrates excellent communication skills, leadership skills,
decision-making abilities, and robust knowledge of information
systems and informatics. The IIS continuously strives for
improvements in efficiency of care delivery, as well as patient
outcomes and organizational performance. Due to expertise in the
electronic medical record, the SIA also provides support in all
areas of documentation, development of reports, and fulfillment of
data requests. SIA collaborates with Clinical Educators to provide
new hire and continuous education of staff. IIS serves as role
model of professional conduct and plays a vital role in creating a
professional climate at Schwab to meet our diverse needs. Key
Responsibilities Support clinical workflows, healthcare operations,
and technology use. Learn and apply new software, hardware, and
technical tools. Work with clinicians to optimize workflows and
customize system settings. Develop and test system updates,
hardware/software changes, and interfaces. Troubleshoot system
issues and coordinate solutions. Build scheduling templates and
visit types. Collect, analyze, and present data for reports and
dashboards. Provide Epic training for new hires and ongoing staff
education. Contribute to design and updates of Epic workflows and
training programs. Collaborate with leaders to identify reporting
needs and improve clinical outcomes. Audit documentation for
accuracy and adherence to best practices. Support development of
evidence-based policies and process improvements. Lead and
participate in quality, safety, and operational initiatives.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required ; Master's in
Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. 1-3 years of
experience in Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or
Clinical Informatics. Skills & Knowledge Experience with Epic and
MEDITECH preferred. Ability to mentor and train new caregivers in
Epic. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational
