Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to float between different ICU units - Experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure - Proficient in interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of arterial lines Description: The Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in an intensive care setting. This position requires the ability to float to various ICU units and potentially to medical-surgical units as needed. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week, with an every other weekend requirement. Request for time off is limited to five days maximum, with no more than two consecutive days. There are no requests for time off allowed on holidays or weekends. Candidates must have experience in handling high-acuity patients and be skilled in the management of ventilated patients. Duties include continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and proper documentation of patient care.
