Job Description Job Description Resurrection Medical Center in
Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Associate Program Director
(APD) for its Internal Medicine Residency Program. This is a 0.25
FTE academic leadership role ideal for an experienced physician
educator looking to contribute meaningfully to graduate medical
education while maintaining flexibility. Position Details Will be
employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group. Part-time |
Dayshift Schedule Responsible for the operational functions of the
accredited GME training programs. Comprehensive and detailed
understanding of the national accreditation policies and hospital
policies | high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
Involved in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing
accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and
maintaining databases. Communicate with faculty and trainees
regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external
program relations. Qualifications MD degree Current board
certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Eligible for Illinois medical license | Current medical licensure
in the state of IL A minimum of three years' experience as core
faculty member in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
program. Previous significant GME experience such as associate
program director, program director or site director. An
entrepreneurial spirit to engage collaborators within and outside
the university and to attract highly qualified and committed
trainees and faculty. Knowledge and experience in teaching and
working in an underserved or marginalized community Should have
working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GME
databases. Assistant Program Director will work in the residency
clinic and have administrative duties as well. Compensation and

this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other
forms of compensation, is $275,000- $300,000. on an annualized
basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be
determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which
a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not
limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education,
