Job Description:
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the
ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on
Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people
overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions,
trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients
to live freely. About This Role As a Primary Therapist, you’ll work
thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their
individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of
conducting individual therapy meetings, collaborating with
patients’ outpatient teams, and leading patients through their
overall treatment program. You’ll partner closely with the entirety
of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family
Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and
compassionate care. Our centrally located Chicago office is nestled
in the vibrant neighborhood of North Center, not to mention the
social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop! What You’ll Do
Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and
appropriateness of program Coordinate care with patients’ outside
providers to ensure continuity of care Provide individual therapy
Facilitate group therapy and family therapy as needed Assess
patients’ progress and need for higher level of care, transition
plan and/or discharge Communicate with patients’ family members or
support system as needed Chart progress of patients appropriately
Provide insurance utilization team with updates Complete discharge
paperwork Participate in professional development activities Who
You Are Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist (required)
Hold one of the following licenses: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LCPC
(preferred) 2 years clinical work experience post-Master’s
(strongly preferred) Have knowledge and experience utilizing
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies Have experience
with patients in crisis, ideally prior experience working in
partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital,
or residential setting We are committed to a fair and equitable

below. This range includes multiple career path levels across the
organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a
number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of
experience, type of experience, location, and
education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update
these ranges. Compensation $55,000 - $90,000 USD We know job
