Efficiently produce large quantities of bakery products each day. Primary production processes are panning up dough, shaping/scoring dough, proofing, and baking, topping, sheeting, frying of donuts, pastries, and breads. Primary packaging processes are panning up finished products by store category as well as packaging retail packs, boxes, printing labels, etc.Role Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.Must pass all competency tests.Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.Must have reliable transportation.Communication skills necessary to produce food products in a safe and efficient manner.Position Responsibilities:Adheres to the company's vision and missionBuild relationships, promote the living brand, and serve as a product/brand advocateAdhere to company policies and proceduresCommitment to qualityAct with integrity, use sound judgment and ability to adaptPossess a sense of urgencyEnsure that bakery areas are kept clean and organizedMaintains sanitation and food safety through regular inspections of equipment, supplies and proper food storageMaintains proper rotation of productsMust be able to mix dough and batters, make icings and fillings, produce and keep bakery neat and orderlyMaintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food productsMaintain systems and procedures for packaging and ship bakery/food productsAbility to effectively operate all equipment required by position assignedOther duties as assignedEssential Skills and Experience:Integrity and accountabilityInnovation and creativityAdaptive and flexibleTeamwork and leadershipSelf-confidence and humilityProfessionalism and work ethicSituational awarenessStrong customer orientationStrong team playerCommitment to company mission and valuesBasic mathematicalConstructively deals with conflictAdaptability; flexibility and receptive to changePreferred Experience:Must have bakery/food service related experience.Certified food handlerReporting to this position: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical Demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
