The HR Trainer is responsible for conducting trainings and providing support to both new team members as well as existing employees. This role will support online learning by assigning trainings, monitoring completions, performing data entry/reporting of training documentation in database, and frequently communicating with new team members and the supervisors. The HR Trainer will train employees via online webinars and in-person trainings on a variety of topics, including First Aid and CPR.

Knowledgeable of all Paladin positions, including scope of the position and qualifications needed for the position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude, while establishing a positive culture for all employees within the program.2. Discover and implement new ways to train new team members and existing employees. 3. Maintain an encouraging and enthusiastic attitude; requires an absolute commitment to creating and sustaining a positive work environment. 4. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.5. Ensure that training aspects of the hiring process are completed in a timely manner:a. Trainingi. Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.ii. Schedule appropriate training sessions.iii. Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.iv. Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.v. Supervise training budgets.vi. Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.vii. Train and guide new employees.viii. Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.ix. Evaluate training effectiveness.x. Modify training programs.xi. Create monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.xii. Create interactive, multimedia presentations.6. Shall perform any other duties or functions as assigned which may involve areas not directly related to any of the above and may be in areas not normally assigned to this position.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:1. Good public relations and communication skills (both written and oral).2. Ability to independently organize time and duties to conduct the daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities of recruiting activities.3. Knowledge of all agency positions including minimum qualifications for the position.COMMUNICATION SKILLS:1. Effective verbal and written communication skills. 2. Ability to be able to facilitate group discussion. 3. Employees -daily/weekly communication to schedule and monitor training classes.4. Supervisor - personal contact as needed to plan, monitor, and evaluate training activities and communicate need for assistance.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Speaking, hearing, visual ability to communicate.2. Sit for long periods of time with daily use of computer screen.3. Complete tasks involving repetitive arm and hand movements, such as heavy word processing/keyboarding & using various office tools.4. Filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary. 5. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:1. Basic computer skills. 2. Experience with Microsoft suite.EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:1. Bachelors degree in business, HR, or related field.2. Minimum of 2 years experience in a trainer/teaching position preferred. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:1. Required to change work and/or personal schedules to meet time requirements of interviews, trainings, and job fairs.2. This position is full time and will have a varied schedule, primarily between 7:30-4:00 pm with occasional weekday training later in the evening and an occasional Saturday training.3.
