As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in engineering a new product line within our R&D organization. You'll have the opportunity to shape your team and the technology you use while collaborating with other technical experts across the company. Your experience in implementing security best practices will ensure our products are secure, stable, and industry compliant.We're looking for technical professionals who can hit the ground running and thrive in exploring problem spaces while building solutions to real-world customer problems. This role is perfect for a creative, inquisitive individual who enjoys working with a close-knit team, building technical solutions, and making customers successful.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teammates daily to enable progress toward team goals.
• Build front-end utilities using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Build Jenkins build pipelines and other CI/CD processes.
• Securely integrate client-side utilities with REST APIs.
• Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand actual customer problems and build solutions for them.
• Automate test cases and installation packages using a variety of tools.
• Write user-friendly documentation and technical documents using clear, concise language.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and processes, prioritizing team progress and flow.
• Conduct constructive code reviews for teammates, driving growth in yourself and others.
• Identify potential areas for improvement and contribute to the team's ongoing goal of faster and more efficient delivery of value to our end users.Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years post-bachelor's degree experience as a software engineer.
  • High competence in verbal and written communication.
  • Expertise in computer science fundamentals, including security best practices.
  • Ability to multiply the abilities and skills of others.
  • Experience building and maintaining software products in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Knowledge and experience integrating with REST APIs.
  • Willingness to continue learning and re-learning new technologies and methods.
  • Comfort with critical thinking and creative problem-solving.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge and experience implementing client-side security best practices.
    • Knowledge and experience with data security.
    • Experience building and maintaining software products in Java, Python, C++ (or similar).

        • This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.$130,000 - $148,000 a yearFor residents of CA, WA, NY, and CO, the pay range for this position is $130,000-$148,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this position plus any variable earnings, if applicable to the position.
