Employees are expected to be available to work from one of our office hubs at least two days per week, or eight days per month. Our US hub locations include: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; and the Washington, DC metro area. The Opportunity Were creating a new executive role to lead BetterUps evolution from point solution to an enterprise platform. As VP of Delivery & Deployment Operations, youll build and scale the function that turns complex enterprise deals into measurable customer outcomes—owning everything from configuration and integrations to change management and accelerated adoption. This is a builders role. Youll architect our deployment operating model, lead both named deployment resourcing pods and shared services, and define how customers operationalize BetterUp within their organizations for lasting impact. What Youll Own Build the Function • Define the vision, structure, and operating model for enterprise deployment at scale • Design the balance between high-touch professional services and scalable shared infrastructure • Create playbooks for configuration, integrations, change management, and customer operating model enablement Lead the Team • Build and lead a global delivery organization across onshore and offshore models • Direct leadership of Client Delivery Directors, Platform Configuration, and Change Management experts • Direct leadership of Partner Operations shared services infrastructure • Dotted-line oversight of forward-deployed engineering and product resources Drive Outcomes • Own KPIs for deployment quality, cost-to-serve, and time-to-value • Ensure seamless handoffs from Sales, Solution Engineering to Deployment to Client Advisory • Build feedback loops between field learnings and product innovation What Success Looks Like • Customers achieve faster time-to-value with clear, sustainable operating models around BetterUp • A codified, scalable deployment playbook exists across all workstreams • The function operates with clear accountability for cost, quality, and delivery performance • Partners experience a seamless journey from signature to activation—driving retention and expansion You Bring • 15 years in enterprise software, SaaS, or platform environments leading complex deployments or professional services organizations • Experience building and managing global delivery teams with mixed resourcing models (onshore/nearshore/offshore as well as forward deployed technical teams) • Track record designing operating models for high-complexity, multi-workstream enterprise implementations • Strong P&L acumen—youve managed delivery margin, utilization, and cost-to-serve metrics • Builder mindset: you thrive in ambiguity, operate from first principles, and scale systems and people simultaneously • Ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes for executive stakeholders First-Year Priorities • Assess and refine the existing organization to establish world-class operational standards • Document the end-to-end deployment playbook • Optimize the model between dedicated account resources and shared services • Define and implement performance metrics across high-touch and scaled delivery • Pilot refined approaches with strategic partners and scale what works • Build the talent, systems, and global capabilities for deployment excellence at scale Benefits: At BetterUp, we are committed to living out our mission every day and that starts with providing benefits that allow our employees to care for themselves, support their families, and give back to their community. • Access to BetterUp coaching; one for you and one for a friend or family member • A competitive compensation plan with opportunity for advancement • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Flexible paid time off • Per year: o All federal/statutory holidays observed o 4 BetterUp Inner Workdays o 5 Volunteer Days to give back o Learning and Development stipend o Company wide Summer & Winter breaks • Year-round charitable contribution of your choice on behalf of BetterUp • 401(k) self contribution
