looking to add a Carrier Procurement Representative who thrives in
a dynamic, fast-paced global company. As a Carrier Procurement
Representative, you will work closely with the operations team,
seeking to develop and nurture new relationships through
prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling. This is an integral
role in the operation of our business with significant room for
future growth. DEPARTMENT: Operations LOCATION: Chicago - HQ Job
Type: Exempt WHAT YOU GET TO DO: Be part of our team that has
exponentially grown to help further expand the company's carrier
network by targeting and developing new enterprise carrier partners
through high-volume phone calls, email, and in-person visits then
maintaining those relationships with outstanding service Negotiate
market-driven rates and ensure shipment on time Enable our carrier
partners and drivers to utilize our cutting-edge online platform to
communicate, book, and track loads autonomously Support Loadsmart’s
shippers with customized transportation solutions to support their
long-term consistent business Relay carrier feedback to our Product
and Engineering teams to continuously improve our technology to
meet the needs of customers and carrier partners Drive efficiencies
through the utilization of best-in-class technology tools REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
We're seeking individuals with 0-1 years of sales experience or
relevant coursework. Strong attention to detail and showcases
proactivenessA Ability to multitask and prioritize Excellent verbal
and written communication skills Experience in logistics is a plus,
but not required Able to tackle issues head on and create
resolution with urgency The compensation offered for this role will
be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and
complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise. In addition
to your base compensation offer, this role is eligible for an
