Job Description Job Description Chicago | Hybrid An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its Intellectual Property practice in Chicago. This role is well-suited for an associate with experience across intellectual property prosecution and litigation matters who is looking to further develop within a balanced, full-service IP practice. The Role The associate will work with partners and senior attorneys on a range of intellectual property matters, including patent and trademark prosecution, IP litigation support, and related counseling. The practice offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious IP work, meaningful responsibility, and opportunities for hands-on involvement. Ideal Background 2–5 years of experience handling intellectual property prosecution and/or litigation matters Experience with patent and/or trademark matters preferred Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage matters with increasing independence JD from an accredited law school Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in Why This Opportunity Established Intellectual Property practice with national reach Balanced mix of prosecution and litigation work Collaborative team structure with partner access Hybrid flexibility in the Chicago office Compensation commensurate with experience and market Confidential Inquiries Additional details are available in a confidential conversation.
