Overview The Buyer procures supplies and other materials to maximize value and maintain production schedules and office functions. Responsibilities * Evaluates supplies requirements and determines best sourcing strategy * Places purchase orders and follows up with confirmations and deliveries * Responds to emergency requirements from various departments * Responds to and resolve problems and discrepancies Qualifications * High school graduate or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred * Minimum of 5 years of experience with purchasing or similar complex administrative job * Knowledge of vendor relationship management * Basic knowledge of negotiation tactics involving multiple vendors and subcontractors * Computer skills including MS Office * Excellent organization skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Team orientation * Self-motivated and detail-oriented * Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans Federal Contractor If you need assistance applying to an open position online, please email Careers@Wynright.com.
