Job Description:
A company is looking for a Correspondent Sr Underwriter for
their Correspondent Operations department.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate consumer home loan applications to determine
credit worthiness
Validate loan application documentation and ensure accuracy in the
system of record
Underwrite various types of loans based on lending authority levels
and maintain production standards
Required Qualifications:
Recent underwriting experience in the mortgage industry
Experience with automated underwriting systems
High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree
preferred
Knowledge of loan program products, state and federal regulations,
and mortgage industry guidelines
Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems and MS Office
