The School Nurse addresses the health needs of students and coordinates with staff, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to provide a comprehensive school health program that facilitates the appropriate educational opportunity for students. Hours for this position are 8:45AM - 2:45 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The hourly rate range is $29.25- $34/hr for LPN and $31.25- $36/hr for RN based on qualifications and experience.Who We Are:Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With three residential locations - the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Marklund Day School is a well-known and respected nonpublic school serving students ages Pre K-22 who come to our school's program through partnerships with various Chicago suburban school districts. Marklund Day school provides an environment conducive to learning through specialized curriculum, positive behavioral interventions, and individualized student support.
