As a Strategic Sourcing Advisor - Procurement, You will
Job Description:

The Strategic Sourcing Advisor is responsible for identifying and developing sourcing strategies to secure optimal pricing and services. This role focuses on negotiating cost for Professional Services, including IT Consulting, IT Managed Services, Management Consulting, HR, Finance, Legal, and Research categories. The Advisor will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, manage escalations independently, and analyze business pipelines to streamline vendor operations while acting as a subject matter expert for the assigned category.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFIs, market scans, and category management.
Partner with internal business teams to define specifications and requirements.
Conduct industry research, assess risks, and provide intelligence on market trends.
Negotiate pricing, contract compliance, and vendor management.
Develop strategic plans to optimize supplier base and cost savings.
Manage multiple sourcing projects and contracts while collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
Present recommendations and sourcing strategies to internal teams.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and research skills to support procurement strategies.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience with contract negotiations and vendor rationalization.
Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
3-6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance.
Experience in business process outsourcing or insurance industry.
Knowledge of category management and contract negotiation best practices.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $55.00- $58.00- per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
