Job Description:

Knollwood Club--is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to plan and execute a variety of events, including private member gatherings, corporate functions, weddings, and club-sponsored events. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create seamless and memorable experiences for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:
--- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from inception to completion, ensuring all details align with the club's high standards.
--- Collaborate with members and internal teams to understand event objectives and deliver customized experiences.
--- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, d--cor, and staffing requirements.
--- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best services at competitive prices.
--- Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
--- Coordinate event marketing and communication, including invitations, signage, and member outreach.
--- Supervise on-site event execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
--- Maintain compliance with club policies and local regulations for all events.

Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business, or a related field preferred.
--- 5+ years of experience in event planning, preferably within a private club, hotel, or high-end venue.
--- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members, vendors, and staff.
--- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
--- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
--- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
