Understanding of Windows registry, application integration into the registry, and running 32-bit applications on 64-bit OS is essential. Ability to write or debug Windows scripts and troubleshoot application issues related to the operating system is required.- Ability to perform TM1 installation and configuration for server and client components, including TM1 Server, Operations Console, Applications, Web, Microsoft Office TM1 client tools Perspective, and Cognos Analysis for Excel (CAF--). Must be able to apply patches to these components in version 10.1 and above.- Experience working with TM1 server in different authentication modes, including switching configurations for native security, LDAP, and Cognos BI security integration.- Experience with TM1 integration with Cognos BI components is a plus but not mandatory.- Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations for TM1 Server, instances, web servers, operating systems, or other bottlenecks.- Knowledge of TM1 disaster recovery, backup, and restore processes.Administrator responsibilities include:- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.- Knowledge of IIS, Apache web servers, and Tomcat application server configurations.- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory LDAP.- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (preferably Oracle) for troubleshooting and administrative scripts; extensive SQL performance tuning is not required.- Willingness to document change management (ITSM) and adhere to procedural standards for audits.- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including IP addressing and DNS.
