seeking an experienced sponsorship strategy and measurement analyst
to support a range of client-facing and internal support
engagements within Excel Analytics. The Client Analytics team lives
at the rock face of our work, directly engaging with Excel
Analytics clients internally and externally, supported by our
Engineering and Analytics Ops teams who develop models, build new
capabilities, and house all of the underlying data in a structured,
accessible environment. As part of the Client Analytics team, this
role will develop and deliver data-driven narratives centered on
the evaluation and measurement of brand and talent partnerships.
This individual will be an analytics and insights generalist – one
who is equally adept at understanding and addressing client needs
as they are in being a thought-partner for whitespace capability
development. Role & Responsibilities: Lead sponsorship valuation
engagements as the face of the work to the client and the last word
on the quality of that work internally Develop and deliver rich,
data-driven client presentations that bring our findings to life
for clients of all backgrounds, while providing the context they
need to confidently action those findings in response Identify and
embrace client needs and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients
by providing hands-on consultancy, collaboration and support As
needed, execute research assignments in areas including, but not
limited to, property deep-dives, brand & category research,
industry & asset trends, activation case studies, sponsorship deals
analysis, etc. Serve as a power user of our syndicated and
proprietary data resources to develop actionable insights and
effective storytelling on behalf of clients Communicate with
internal stakeholders regarding project requirements,
interpretation of data, and the development of recommendations
based on our findings Establish a deep understanding of the
sponsorship landscape in sports & entertainment Education &
Experience: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business
Administration, Sports Business, Business Analytics or a related
field 3-5 years of direct experience in sponsorship or brand
marketing valuation and analysis 1-2 years direct experience in
partnership valuation Sports marketing and/or agency experience is
a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Mastery of MS PowerPoint and
other presentation tools (e.g. Google Slides), with the ability to
create compelling, structured and digestible narratives that bring
our findings to life Expertise in MS Excel with the ability to
rapidly assess and analyze data sets with a highly structured
approach An action-oriented, self-starter who loves being a part of
a dynamic team, but also can generate first-class work product
independently when needed Must strive for the very best and have a
"whatever it takes" attitude to go above and beyond for teammates
and clients Has the ability to think strategically and creatively
while identifying stakeholder needs, embodying a proactive,
problem-solving approach Must exude emotional intelligence along
with the ability to communicate and connect effectively,
recognizing the need to adjust communication based on the audience
and situation Intellectually curious and proactive, recognizing
opportunity and implementing procedures to enhance efficiencies
across the team Uncompromised ethics and integrity, always focused
on doing what is right for our clients Knowledge of the sports and
sponsorship landscapes in the US and globally Ability to work both
independently, and within a team, and establish effective
interdepartmental relationships Ability to prioritize and manage
workflow in an environment of managing multiple projects
simultaneously The pay range for this position is: $80,000 per year
- $100,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits
and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based
upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role,
business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
