Job DescriptionHow You'll Make an ImpactWe're looking for an
outstanding Associate Director of Owned MarTech Strategy - someone
who can join an established and high-profile client business and
lead/support multiple projects forward in partnership with the VP
Strategic Owned MarTech Lead. The Strategic MarTech capability has
a wide variety of focus areas, from unlocking new in-app
capabilities to bridging the connection between ordering channels
such as Digital Menu Board & Kiosks. An experienced technology
leader is essential to support these complex digital projects being
defined, designed and developed by Publicis. As the Associate
Director of Owned MarTech Strategy, you will act as a core team
member leading and supporting the enablement of digital marketers
on the QSR brand with integrated capabilities to accelerate
personalization and omnichannel evolution. The focus of this role
will primarily be on Owned channels (Push, Email, SMS, Digital Menu
Boards, Kiosk), but will require deep collaboration cross teams
(Strategy, Audience, Activation, etc.).Our embedded Strategic
MarTech practice encompasses Paid and Owned expertise, with an aim
to realize a holistic vision across marketing through use cases and
the underlying capabilities, integrations, and processes. Our
primary pillars focused on:
- Empower business leads (internal & external) to understand
capabilities and data enough to foster innovative thinking and
conversations, ultimately leading to more testing in the wild
- Maximize value of QSR's current MarTech investments
- Collaborate & strategize on MarTech roadmap for
capabilities/connections to enhance and add incremental business
use cases
- This role will be US focused, but there will be a need to
understand connect on the brand's Global Roadmap
- Understand and manage the data "ripple effect" through a full
view of upstream and downstream connections between platformsWhat
You'll Achieve
- Act as strategic partner with primary platforms; Braze,
SessionM, mParticle, +others
- Understand the broader QSR's technology ecosystem to uncover
opportunities or potential challenges that others may have not seen
and the ability to proactively frame up an understandable
manner
- Capability prioritization and POVs: leads for spearheading
capability prioritization and POV development in close
- Collaboration across Publicis and McDonald's stakeholders
- Capability Documentation & Readiness: Includes contingency
mapping for capabilities, status of each, estimated timing, and
Effort/Impact based on input from the team (i.e., Braze, mParticle,
SessionM, etc.)
- Capability Ideation: bring forward opportunities as they become
available to assist in the ideation of organic business use
cases
- Custom Solution Development & New Capability Adoption: help
develop the technical documentation and process for unique
approaches and/or new capabilities
- Org Initiative Connection: work in close collaboration with
Owned Strategic MarTech lead on McD-led AI Capabilities and their
opportunities for Owned application
- Documentation Creation & Management: Standing up and
maintaining systems of record, requirements, process and technology
documentation that can be referenced by cross-functional teams and
centralize critical pieces of information into a central knowledge
repository.Who You Are
- What you'll bring with you:
- And undergraduate degree is required for this role.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Consulting (Strategy or
Operations), Digital and Advanced Analytics, Marketing Technology,
Owned Activation, or Product Management
- Strong attention to detail and understanding sense of urgency.
Proven track record in establishing priorities, demonstrating
creativity and innovation in business applications of data and
technology.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus across
stakeholders.
- Strong entrepreneurial mind-set with the drive to dig in,
problem solve and evolve solutions.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with technology partners and
clients.
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.
- Experience working directly with mid or senior level clients to
gain trust and establish rapport for project management, technology
assessment and development work required.
- Firm grasp and ability to translate request(s) into meaningful
and actionable deliverables and/or work sessions.
- Deep knowledge of digital technology such as: Customer Data
Platform (CDP), customer relationship management (CRM) systems,
systems integration, website analytics, marketing automation,
native apps
- Knowledge of cross channel execution (email, SMS, direct mail)
and best practices including data security requirements, CAN SPAM
compliance, etc.
- Knowledge of the email marketing landscape, including Email
Service Providers, Marketing Clouds, Marketing Automation
platforms, and niche solutions providers
- Demonstrated skills in driving innovation in the email and
direct marketing space
- Excellent time management and communication skills; you're
detail-oriented, organized, and a master multi-tasker.
- Experience working with remote teams in different time zones
required.
- Flexibility to travel as needed is required.

compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not
limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications,
location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is
