Once Upon a Child is looking for energetic, positive, people-friendly Sales Associates to join our team at the Crown Point location. Once Upon a Child is the leading children's resale franchise, and we are looking for candidates who are able to work in our fast-paced, high-volume retail store.The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction. -Responsibilities:-Working well with others in -a team-oriented environment-Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly manner-Checking customers in with items they are selling-Sorting and evaluating inventory including clothing, shoes, toys, baby equipment, etc.-Entering inventory on computer based pricing system-Handling sales transactions, including cashing/paying out to customers for their items-Tagging, hanging, stocking, backstocking, and organizing inventory on sales floor-Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and work area -Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. May involve heavier lifting with assistance of - -team member or cart/dolly.Bending, rotating, and reaching customary to a retail environment; including receiving, pricing, and stocking/back stocking merchandise.Exposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levels.Able to operate a computerized sales terminal. -About Once Upon a Child:Did you know we are the largest national franchise specializing in reselling gently used kids' clothing, shoes, toys, and baby gear?
